Our Heritage Lottery Fund-supported project, UNEARTH, is running over two years, 2017 to 2019, and enables researchers in 8 Devon villages to discover the vibrancy of their local history, resulting in 8 multi-media performances inspired by the research. Phase one of the project, now concluded, was immensely successful. Communities in Cheriton Fitzpaine, Whimple, Starcross and Rattery took part in extensive local research over many months and then worked together with a musician, an artist, a playwright and an actor to bring these local stories to life in a unique one-off performance in their village hall. It has been an amazing first phase of the project and now in 2018, we are very much looking forward to working with Crediton, Brentor, Chagford and Buckfastleigh.
